Breaking News!!!!!! I am excited to announce that I will be teaching a new yoga class, Yoga Express @ 6:30am-7am this Wednesday, April 25th at Studio in the Heights. I will also be subbing the Wednesday evening class, Yoga for Athletes at 8pm that same day.

Hi Everyone,
Has spring finally arrived? As I watch the beginnings of a new season that has been long overdo, I am excited about the new beginnings that have come my way. Was it just last week that I had musing of allowing myself to stay open to new opportunities, that when one thing ends, another can begin? As I mentioned, I am so excited to announce that I will be teaching the new “Yoga Express” class at Studio in the Heights on Wednesday mornings. It’s amazing that since the start of the year, it has been my resolution to take things slow & steady, to take a step back in order for me to move forward. It has been this journey that has allowed me to learn to “go with the flow” and allow myself to be receptive to whatever may come. You may have noticed that there has been a constant theme to my post and in class this month. I have been working on poses and sequences that open the body, especially the hips while staying grounded. What better way to continue with this theme than one of the most challenging balancing postures, at least for me, Utthita Hasta Padangustasana or Extended Hand to Toe Yoga Pose? This is a great pose to improve balance, strengthen hips, core, legs feet, & stretch the back of the legs. This pose also helps to stabilize the ankles while helping to build focus & confidence. So join me this week as we continue to stay open as we move forward.
